This song is Monch's anti-police brutality anthem, and serves as his new single off his upcoming LP, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). The track features Showtyme and MeLa Machinko. Pharoahe explains the song: "Instead of protect and serve, police often escalate situations, as with the cases of Sean Bell, Oscar Grant, or Aiyana Stanley Jones, and hundreds more who fell victim to police violence. I wrote this song to express my frustration, as well as raise the question of how our communities can create safety and prevent violence, with out relying on police." The official video for "Clap (One Day)" will be out in December, and W.A.R. drops in February.

I personally seen him perform this a week ago from today at the Duck Down 15th year anniversary. I can't even imagine what this new album W.A.R. will have in store, I expect this record to be one of Pharoahe's most personal records. Enjoy!!!

What's good ya'll? This is something that I have been waiting for BET or any other network that shows Hip Hop to do and that is to show the honor and respect for the legend "GURU" from "Gangstarr." This brother has contributed so much Hip Hop and is more than likely responsible for so many new rappers who you love today. I still remember when the "Moment Of Truth" dropped and how that literally changed my life!!! Guru drop so many gems that I still carry with me today. I wont even touch on how "Manifest" affected me as a youngen. I hope his soul truly rest in peace because he put some work on this earth and deserves to rest. For now check this video and enjoy as his friends pay homage!!!

PS- A special Happy Birthday to my home girl "Jenelle Simone"such a beautiful woman as she is deserves a great Birthday!!! I am fortunate to know her!!!

10/13 Video: Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. "Bang Bang" feat. Q-Tip & MNDR Live on Letterman

I love seeing the mesh of different genre's of music such as this. Mark Ronson has an new album out entitled "Record Collection" in stores now that features those from the likes of D'Angelo to Boy George and Ghost Face Killah. What a mix right? And trust there are many more. This particular video is a live performance by Q-tip and MNDR who are also on the album with the single "Bang, Bang." I heard it and thought it was a new Q-Tip record lolol. Either way I love this record and you should too!!! lolol Enjoy!!!

10/5 Stadium Red Expansion Party!!!

Whats good ya'll? Rainy couple days here in NYC but what can you do? I appreciate God's gifts!!! and you should too!!! How can I forget big up to my man Jorge celebrating a birthday today. Libras Stand up!!! I rep Aries but I had to shout ya'll out.

Last Thursday, we had the absolute pleasure of attending an expansion party at Stadium Red which is now a "One Stop Shop" studio. You may ask what do I mean by that. Its a one stop shop because you will no longer need to take your music anywhere. Everything you need from production, recording, mixing & mastering can be done professionally at Stadium Red. Which literally makes this studio one of the best studios in the city. One who knows us knows that is where "Bugnanas" and the majority of any other music we create is done. We are ecstatic for the staff at Stadium Red for working so diligently to accomplish what they did and for us as artists that are somewhat part of the ride!!! To add "Just Blaze" is officially down with the "Stadium Red" family and has his own room where new renown magic will be created. It was a packed house that night in ways unimaginable lol. The place consisted of bloggers to stylists, producers, artists & engineers. Wonderful night to network and get things on a progressive note.
